Focus on Nutrients
- reduce losses of the greenhouse gases; nitrous oxide, methane and carbon dioxide
- reduce losses of nitrate from farmland
- reduce ammonia emissions from manure
- reduce losses of phosphorus from farmland
- avoid losses of pesticides into surface and groundwater
In order to fulfill these objectives the project focuses on increasing nutrient management efficiency by increasing awareness and knowledge. The farmer is in focus and therefore the core of the project is education and individual on- farm advisory vistis.

Working effectively towards our environmental objectives
In year 2007 a short report was written to show the projects enviromental effects and to describe Swedens work to obtain the national environmental objectives. Effects of the project for the years 2001-2006 with on-farm visits, training and information, are presented.
