- reduce losses of nitrate from farmland
- reduce ammonia emissions from manure
- reduce losses of phosphorus from farmland
- avoid spreading of pesticides into surface and groundwater
In order to fulfill these objectives the project works with increasing nutrient management efficiency on the farms by increasing awareness and knowledge. The farmer is in focus and therefore the core of the project is education and advising by individual visits by farm advisers.

Working effectively towards our environmental objectives
In year 2007 a short report was written to view the project enviromental effects and to describe the Swedish work in general to obtain the national environmental objectives. Effects of the project work for the years 2001-2006 with home visits on farms, training and information in combination, are presented.
